TaxAssist’s Irish Directors Alison McGinley and Roddy Comyn and Technical & Training Manager Michael Scanlan delivered a highly informative agenda, which covered the achievements of the first half of the year and exciting plans for the next six months.
The focus of this summer’s meeting was on pricing and using new technologies for speeding up the process of delivering quotes and signing up new clients. Technical updates were delivered by Michael, who announced that several technical guides have been created for franchisees to share with clients.
The Irish team were joined by James Mattam, TaxAssist’s Group Business Development Director and Richard Chatten, International Support Manager, from the TaxAssist Group’s Support Centre in the UK. James revealed a number of business development updates and exciting new initiatives that will drive the Irish network forward in the coming months. These will include a centralised mailing system, to provide time saving and efficiency for the network’s franchisees and new accountancy software and apps.
The day was concluded with best practice roundtable discussions, covering a number of topics which proved to be of great benefit to the attendees.
Alison said: “The meeting was a very enjoyable event which I’m glad so many of our network were able to attend. We had some very exciting initiatives which we were pleased to be able to reveal and the feedback from these has been very positive.
“What was clear from the event was that we are all incredibly focused on working together to continue to build on our success so far. We are still looking to expand our network further in Ireland and anyone interested in growing their own accountancy practice with our brand name, training and support should get in contact to find out more.”
