Having grown from zero to 20 franchise units since its inception in 2009, TaxAssist Ireland has recently started a fresh round of meetings with candidates interested in opening their own Accountancy practice.
“TaxAssist Accountants has enjoyed a hugely successful ten years in Ireland”, explained Alison. “It was clear right from the outset that there was a real demand for our services and for the way they are delivered, through open and welcoming shops. We have gotten to a point now where we service over 6,000 clients nationally. As the economy drives forward we are finding more and more clients are coming to us looking to change Accountants. So, we think the time is right to expand our footprint to service them locally.
“We have ambitious plans for continued growth for the TaxAssist network, and over the next three years, we aim to grow the number of franchisees by a further seven, work with our franchisees to assist them in developing their areas by opening second shops, create a further 50 jobs and support the delivery of new software to help our clients easily keep track of their businesses.”
Alison, who has overall responsibility for business development strategies and ongoing network support in Ireland, was announced as ‘Irish Franchising Woman Of The Year’ at the Irish Franchise Awards in 2015. She has also accepted two ‘Best Marketing Campaign’ awards from the Irish Franchise Association on behalf of TaxAssist in 2016 and 2018.
“Our award-winning marketing campaigns – plus other new initiatives including a centralising mailing system and embracing new technology – has helped our franchisees to position themselves at the very forefront of their industry, improving productivity and streamlining the running of their practices,” continued Alison. “This, in turn, has freed up their time to work on value-added services, leading to improved profitability.
“And, with a national television campaign due for release this year to support marketing materials, everything is now in place to allow franchisees to grow really substantial practices.”
