The competition, now in its sixth year celebrates and rewards start-ups across all sectors for their success in business across 11 categories, including digital, retail and technology. Entry is free and open to sole traders, partnerships and companies that have been set up in Ireland and been in business for three years or less with up to 30 employees.
TaxAssist Accountants’ Managing Director Alison McGinley, who will be a member of the judging committee, said: “I’m honoured to be part of the judging panel, and I am looking forward to meeting with the awards finalists. We work with over 6,000 clients across Ireland so we know what a slog starting your business from scratch is. Awards like this can be a fantastic boost for your credibility so we’d strongly encourage busy entrepreneurs to take time out from their schedule to enter.”
Entries for the awards can be made online at www.startupawards.ie. Entries will be judged in their respective region, which includes Dublin, the rest of Leinster, Munster and Connacht/Ulster. Regional finalists will then be shortlisted for the national final. The winners will be announced at the Startup Awards Ceremony on the 18th May at Dublin’s Royal Hibernian Gallery.
